Although Home Inventory was designed on a Macintosh, it should work very well as-is on a PC. Some of the text may look a bit off, but that's only because of font substitution. I haven't had enough requests from Windows users to warrant creating a separate version for the PC, but that may change if I get a lot of feedback.
The manual provided with Home Inventory won't be readable on a PC; it was created as a standalone application (kind of like an EXE file) that will only run on a Mac. That's why I've provided a text version of the manual in this folder (HOMEINV.DOC). It's not as pretty as the Mac version, but at least you'll be able to read it <g>!
If you have any problems using Home Inventory on a PC, I'd appreciate it very much if you'd drop me a line at any of the e-mail addresses listed below. If you like Home Inventory but you're not registering because it's not working properly, or some screen just looks miserable because of color or font substitution problems, I may be able to correct the problem and send you a properly working version.
